“Well I've waited a long time to be able to book a table here, so my expectations were high!!!! Disappointed to say the least. Extremely small place.. Parking is a nightmare. Service fab. Chef fab. Quality of food definitely not what I expected.. Steak was chewy, not much taste at all either... Glad I finally got to there, will I be going back? No!!!”
“Really nice food, amazing value! The only downside, very difficult to get a booking unless you book weeks ahead, especially if you want a weekend booking, I totally get it though as they busy.”
“Absolutely stunning meal. Steak incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. Starters were very tasty and the chef was such a lovely lady. She deserves so much praise. The restaurant is little and so cosy, parking is very easy. Over the railway bridge is a car park. Just google it. The price if our meal was fantastic too. Im an ex military chef and I could not find fault at all with this awesome little restaurant unlike some people. Its taken ages to get a table here and we will 100% be coming back. X”
“Loved our first visit to Steak and Stamp. The food was amazing and loads of it. Loved that you can see the chef cooking and she was so friendly and chatty too. We had leftovers and were asked if we’d like to take it home (of course we did). Lovely homely feel to the restaurant and was extremely good value for money. We will definitely return soon Thank you for a great evening xx”
“What a find working late, stopped for some food and my colleague suggested a steak house and up popped this beauty on Google Maps. Got there and it was full except one table which we had and the atmosphere was amazing. The front house was so friendly and welcoming, we ordered and our food was out in no time all cooked perfectly! Everything was gorgeous, perfect medium steak, amazing chips and a super yummy salad. I tried the local lager which was also lovely and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I wish I could've stayed longer but had to rush back to work definitely a 10/10 and I'll will definitely come back next time I'm in the area ”
